Season - Sep 12th 2018
Welcome to the new season at Invicta Fencing Club with a brand new website and a new weekly structure on a club night. The Wednesday sessions start at 630 so please be on time when there will be a structured warm-up session followed by ten minutes changing time. At seven o’clock the children will be divided into three groups headed up by one of our coaches and split according to ability and or age. We will then work on a weekly subject for half an hour and then free fence for half an hour which will be supervised by a senior club member whilst the coach gives individual lessons to those within their group. The first subject is the disengage and this will be taught in attack as well as defence over a course of three weeks. We have three coaches every other week meaning that Peter Barwell and Kate Morwell-Neave will be there every week and Peter Huggins every other. In Peter Huggins absence John Baker, our club captain, will fill his shoes.
